{Syle Inpsiration} Halloween in the Chic

Halloween is just about one of the most fun howl-idays (get it?) of the year.  While I love planning fun parties for the kids, I think adults should be able to have just as much fun - and in a chic and elegant way!

I'm working on designs for a chic Halloween Party and wanted to share this inspiration board with you. I love the color combination of silver, bright orange, cream and black, don't you?

What are you BOO-ING this Halloween?  If you're getting ready for Halloween, check out our store's printable Halloween party collection.

I'm excited to announce that I will be the new Party Planner Blogger over at MG Party Impressions! MG Party Impressions is the party inspiration site that showcases clip art and digital papers by designers of the My Grafico Digital Arts and Crafts store.  I'll be doing a party related post twice a month using all the fun and creative designs by the talented team of My Grafico Designers.

For my first post, I styled a Bus Stop Breakfast Bar for a Back-to-School celebration and you can read all about it over at the MG Party Impressions blog and you can read more about it here.

{Party People} Carnival Party Collaboration

So I know I've been MIA for a few days, but I've got big and exciting things going on - which I will share with you later in the week......first thing's first, the winner of my Edible Cupcake Wrapper - and the lone entrant is - (drum roll please) the FABULOUS MONIQUE from Enchanted Expectations! I heart Monique, she's one of the first blog friends I made and she's very creative (and the reason why I spend endless hours in Home Goods). Check out her blog and to view all her fancy parties!

On to other business! I recently teamed up with fellow members from the Martha Stewart's Dreamers Into Doers, Party People group for a Carnival party styled by Amy Croushorn of Make it Mine Parties (hearts it). This party was a fabulous collaboration of super talented party gals, including, Jutta of The Lucky Elephant, Pia of Cake Pop Fusion, Kristal & Jen of Atutudes and myself. Each of us lent our talents and crafts to help make, what I think, is an absolutely adorable party!

I provided Amy with a festive yarn pom-pom garland similar to the one I made for my daughter's Bubble Gum Birthday Bash! The garland was used as decoration for her photo backdrop - look how cute it turned out!

This fancy tutu was created by Kristal & Jen of Atutudes and is absolutely adorable!

A 'charming' bracelet from The Lucky Elephant!

How fun are the clown cake pops from Pia of Cake Pop Fusion?!!!

I'm so blessed to be able to do what I love and share it with my readers and customers. My birthday wish is that I'm able to continue to do it this year and in the many years that follow. Hopefully you all won't get bored with me and all my crazy and stick around ;)

{Cupcake Monday} Edible Cupcake Wrapper

I was absolutely over the moon when I got my Cricut Cake for Mother's Day and mentioned that I had a brilliant idea (in MY mind) to take my favorite treat - cupcakes - to another level! So, I made EDIBLE FONDANT CUPCAKE WRAPPERS!!!!

I finally got around to making one over the weekend and since I'm working on getting photos taken for my Mermaid Party Collection I thought an under the water themed wrapper would be appropriate.

I love the little fish!

What do you think???  Fun or what?  If you have a Cricut Machine and have the Cricut Lite Cupcake Wrappers cartridge - you can make your own with Fondant or Gum Paste.  I also think there are a few other new Party cartridges coming out that have cupcake wrappers in the collection.

HOWEVER......since THIS GIRL is turning the big 2-5 (yeah right) on Wednesday, let's jump start the celebrating today and how's about I do a GIVEAWAY for A DOZEN FONDANT CUPCAKE WRAPPERS!!!!!  This would be a GREAT giveaway, especially for anyone currently planning a cupcake party or setting up a dessert table for a shower!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!
(BTW - I'm updating my blog....myself- I probably should pay someone to do it - but I'm super cheap and always think that I can do a better job all on my own.  In a few weeks, I'll admit that I was overly ambitious and will most likely end up paying someone with more time and experience to do it for me.  In the meantime, please enjoy the various changes that will take place on this blog.  It should be quite entertaining!)
